How much to compress files? (7zip, WinRar, FreeArc)?

Hello!
How much to compress files? I watched various tutorials where they compressed almost 100 GB into 50 KB, but I can’t compress, say, even by half ;( I
used 7Zip, WinRar, and FreeArc at maximum settings - it was compressed by a maximum of 10%.
For example, pdf 21 MB, compressed to 19 MB by different archivers at different settings >< Does
it matter which file types to compress
?
Thanks for the replies

If it turns out that way, then there is an appropriate amount of useful information in 100 GB. Read about information entropy.

. Ordinary archivers (lossless) don't fit well. Look towards transcoding to lossy compression formats with acceptable quality for you.
