How to change a file with a very long name in an archive?

There is a file in the archive

iIiiIIIIiIIIIIIiiIiIIiIIiiiiIiIiiiIiiiiiIIiIIiIiiIIiiiIiIiIIiiiIiIiIIiiiIIIiIiiIiiIIiiIiIIiiiIiIIiIiiiIiiIiiIIiiIiiIIIiIIiiIiiiiiiIiIIiiiIiIiIIiIIiIIIiIiiIIiiIiiIIiiiiIIiIIiiIiIIIiiIIIiiiIiIIIIIiIiiIiIiiiiiIIiIIiiIiiiiIIIIiiiIiIiIIiIIiIiIiIiiiIiiiIIIiiIIiiIIIiiIiiiiIiiIIiIiiIIIiIiiIiIIIIiiIiIIiiiIiiiiIiIIIIiIiiiIIIIIIiiiiIiiiiiiiIIIIiiiIiiiiiiIIIIiIIiIIIIIiiIIIiIiiIIiIIIIiiIiIiiIiIIiiIiiIIiiIIiiiiiIIIiIIIIIIIiIiIiiiIIiiIiiiIIIIiIiiiiiiiIiIIIIIiIiIiIIiiiIiiIIiiIIIIIIiIiIiiiiiIiiIIIIIIiiIiiiiIIiiIIiiIiiiIIIIIiIiIIiiiIiiIiiIIIiiIIIIIiiiiIIiiiiiiIiIiIIiIiiIiiIiIIiiiIiIIiiiiiiiiIiIiiiIIiIiiIiIIIIIiiIiIiiiiiiIiIiIIIIiIiIIIiIIiiIIIiiiiiiIiIiiiiiiiIiiIIIIiiiiIIIiIIIiIIIiiiiIiiiIIiiiiIIIiIiIIiIiIiiiiIiiIiIiIiIIIIiIIIIIIIiiIiiiIiIiIIiIIiiIiIiiIIIiiIIiIiIiiiiiiiiIiIIIIiIIIiiiIiIIIIIiIiIiiIiiiIiiiiiiIiiIIiiIIiIiIiIIIIiiIiiIIiiIiiIiiiIIiIIIiIiIIiIiiIiIiiiIiiiIiiIIiIiIiiIIIIiiiiIiIIiIiiIIiiIIiiiIIiiIiIiiiiiiIiIiIIiiIIiiIIIIiiiiiIiiIiIiiIIiIiiIiIiiiiIiIiIiiIIIIIiiiIIiIIIiiIIIiIiIiiIIIiiiiIiiIiiIiiiIi.class

It is necessary to replace one line in it, but windows does not allow it to be opened, swearing at the length of the file.
I tried to rename the file, but then it does not work back.

Options:
1. Move the archive and temp archiver to a folder with a shorter name. In extreme cases, to the root of the disk.
2. Use a different archiver (try different ones, or build 7zip with the DWIN_LONG_PATH parameter, for example)
3. Use a different OS

When renaming, specify the path not as "C:\xxx", but as "\\?\C:\xxx". Using the "\\?\" prefix, you can specify paths longer than 260 characters.

How to change a file with a very long name in an archive?
Very simple.
  1. Unpack the archive into a folder with a short path.
  2. Change.
  3. Pack back.
It is necessary to replace one line in it, but windows does not allow it to be opened, swearing at the length of the file.
If windows swears at the length of the file, what does the length of the name have to do with it ???
See the program you are editing the file for, it can't open such a long file.
