How much space does macOS take up?

As far as I understand, Apple, like everyone else, indicates the total amount of SSD without taking into account the space occupied by the system.
How long does a clean system "out of the box" take on macbooks?
In some video on YouTube, the dude said that he had 100 GB occupied only by the system. Chet is kinda weird.

the system can be occupied and 200 gigabytes. it all depends on what and how to use it.
A clean install takes about 15-20 gigs.

on a mac with m1 it takes 15 GB

Answering your own question. After installing everything I need for web development (without docker), I have 187 GB free from 256 GB.
