How much should you trust the security of Workplace by Facebook and Microsoft Teams?

I am at the stage of testing the Facebook Workplace platform within the company, and in light of the latest news about data leakage from Facebook, I am wondering how safe it is to use their platform for corporate needs?
According to the assurances of the company itself, Workplace is a separate platform and no personal data is synchronized with Facebook user accounts, moreover, on the Premium plan, the company itself manages all user data, but nevertheless, is this platform more secure given that it is paid?
The list of clients of this site is impressive, Walmart, Starbucks, AirAsia, Spotify,....
Has anyone used Workplace by Facebook or MS Teams in their company?
