How much risk do I take by applying for MS BizSpark?

Good day.
Let's say there is an almost fully implemented service (it remains to register a domain, come up with a name and modify the front-end a little). So, when I finish it, it will be possible to launch it. And today I remembered
bizspark . and about iidf . So when I apply, I have to give them all the information about my startup/idea. Will they take advantage of this and throw me out? :D I exaggerated a little, but still. It's so easy to give away an idea that they can take away, and ignore the author for the rest of his life)

There is a saying: "There is no such crime that big business would not commit for the sake of 300% profit." This also works in reverse. In this case, the reputational risks are unlikely to be comparable to the profit of your startup. As a last resort, if they REALLY need your startup, they will buy you with giblets. But I think in this case you will not complain. ;-)

A very common misconception about idea theft by a fund/big company. An idea without implementation, without a team, projects are nothing. You can take someone else's idea, but if you don't burn with it and don't live for it, you don't cook in a sphere specific to the idea - what the hell can you do, you'll only squander money.
In fact, I myself participate in BizSpark and I will speak at the IIDF this week with a presentation of the project. And I don’t worry at all about the fact that someone will steal the idea from me. Moreover, there are competitors who know about the existence of this idea, they can try to use the service themselves - and again, this does not cause excitement.

The Self- Knower has a completely adequate consideration: the idea is not that it costs nothing, but has a negative value - the cost of its implementation (" The idea for minus a million ").
An idea has its value in a successfully implemented form, not at the level of an abstract idea.
And the BizSpark program is organized by Microsoft, a serious company with a worldwide reputation. They or their partners will not steal ideas.
Moreover, if you have almost everything ready, then the world will soon find out about your idea anyway. And in order for it to become more popular, you should promote and advertise it well. You will not launch your project and keep silent about it so that no one steals its idea? :)

We applied for 2 projects and became participants. Microsoft's business is selling software, not stealing ideas. Feel free to serve, use all the advantages and do not be afraid of anything =)
