How much memory can be installed in the HP ProBook 440 G4?
Colleagues, help me unravel)
I have an HP ProBook 440 G4 laptop, the memory costs 16GB. I thought it was the maximum. And then I came across an info that you can install 32 and 64 GB. : https://www.compuram.biz/memory/hp-hpe/notebook/pr...
But it’s somehow incomprehensible, and, alas, I can’t understand on my own, so you can put 32 or 64 or not .... .

You buy the required amount of memory in a decent store, you check it at home.
Earned - rejoice, not earned - within 14 days you return back.
As an option - come to the store with a beech and ask on the spot to pick up a memory for you that will start in it.
The HP website says 16 is the maximum, there's no reason not to trust them.
According to your link at the very top of the table there is an explanation of such a discrepancy from the authors of the site. The situation they describe is theoretically possible. But in practice, if I really wanted to expand, I would try to get memory for tests and check everything myself. There are different options - buying with the possibility of a return, contacting a service center, friends, acquaintances, etc.
