How much did it cost to develop Bitrix24 CRM or similar systems?

I talked with a person who wants to create a system reminiscent of CRM, but organized according to its principles and functionality is planned there more than in most similar systems. Of the human resources, there is only one layout designer, a part-time designer in the project, and one jun(s).
The development budget is only about a million, which seems to me to be very small for such systems. I understand that asking how much the project costs without laying out the technical specifications is pointless. Therefore, I want to focus on the cost of solutions already available on the market.

A million trees is certainly not enough. But enough for a simple CRM. More precisely, a prototype that you can try to develop.
With a small budget, it makes sense to make an industry-specific solution, not a universal one.
In any case, this million should not be a pity.

Make an MVP. Then monetize it (if possible) and use this money to develop it.

There are enough inventors of universal CRM on the market, there is no chance to surpass them, while it must be understood that none of them could create anything as magical as it was intended - so that you can slightly tweak and get a suitable tool for a particular customer. All the same, the programmer needs to add a specific implementation of specific Wishlist.
There is another side of this market - niche tools for those who find universal ones either too cumbersome, or it is easier to write from scratch than to be based on a universal one.
The main ambush is that writing CRM, starting from their theoretical ideas about what should be there - a deliberate work on the basket. At the implementation stage, all these beautiful theories go down the drain, and if the system is not flexible enough to tie a knot in the right direction, it simply does not work.

A million rubles is five months of a senior's salary. If you add here the RFP of two Junes, then this is already 4 months. It will take another month for the team to work together, processes to line up, etc. Either office expenses, or more time will be spent on this in the case of a remote team.
In total, it takes 3 months of development, which is very little. There is not even a risk that the project will not start, but a high risk that it will not even be brought to some kind of first version.
A possible option would be to hire a team that will file their boxed solution to the first version. If, as you say, you already have potential customers, then you can start making money and evaluate the prospect of investing 5-10 million in your product.
If you still decide to cut the product from scratch - write to me. Contacts in profile. I just have a framework that is going through the testing stage and I will be glad to try it on another combat product. The framework is specially tailored for CRM and ERP systems and allows them to be developed from scratch several times faster.

those. Do I understand correctly that the whole project will be done by one developer, level jun?
How much time do you spend on development?
Project - start-up or custom?
In order to sell it later or for experience?

I won’t tell you about the timing, because it’s not planned to put everything into operation at once, and the development stages have not yet been scheduled.
