Hello, tell me, who came across, how many Wealans can be tied to one physical interface in the pfSense firewall?
You need to pick up a software firewall, the authorities suggested ipfire, but there is some kind of indistinct documentation, and wilans are tied to zones (green, orange, blue) and, as far as I understand, one wilan for each zone.

It all depends on the load that will go to the network interface, insert several network interfaces and combine them, as far as I remember, pf seems to have such an opportunity ...
why not mikrotik?

You can bind no more than 4094 velans. Tested on version 2.1
