How many cable connections (sockets, couplings) can be made?
Interested in how much the quality of communication reduces the presence of connections in the cable via jacks to an rj-45 socket? How is it measured? For example, a gigabit cable from the provider enters the apartment, and then it has several connections through the rj45 jack-in-socket on the way to the router. It is ideal that the cable from the provider comes directly to the router. The question is, how much will the quality / speed of the connection decrease in the above example? How/what method can this be confirmed/verified?
