How long does it take to restore Windows 10 from a restore point?
Good afternoon! There were some problems and decided to roll back the laptop to the last restore point. The laptop is old. It costs windows 10 (it copes with it)
Recovery goes on for almost 24 hours (the wheel spins and says they say wait), that is, the laptop works.
I'm afraid that it's harmful to keep the laptop turned on for too long. Is there any way to disable recovery? (Although I think not)
What will happen if I forcibly turn it off now? Is it possible to just reinstall Windows and that's it?
I have 2 volumes there, on one Windows, on the other files. Is it possible to force shutdown and download the remaining files from the hard drive?
Help me please. I do not know what to do..

There were some problems and decided to roll back the laptop to the last restore point.Among the computers under my control, an epidemic has recently arisen: the computer starts to work very slowly - sometimes at all, sometimes on certain types of tasks. Are your " some problems " that " arised " similar to mine? The reason turned out to be HDD degradation - all sectors of the disk are readable, there are no broken ones at all, but instead of the regular access time to sectors of 5 ... 20 ms, on such HDDs it turns out 500 ... 5000 ms.
I'm afraid that it's harmful to keep the laptop turned on for too long. No, it's allowed. There are many users who do not turn off their computers for years.
Help me please. I do not know what to do.If your problems are similar to mine described above, then the first thing to do is to slip the problematic HDD into the Victoria program, and check not the first few percent of the capacity, but the entire disk. And when such an effect is found, the disk, of course, should be replaced. I even managed to save information from such a disk, but for this I had to put it on cloning for several nights.
