How long does it take to replace a bga chip?

I handed over the laptop to the service center (not under warranty). We started renovations last Friday. They said that there were problems with the power circuit and a replacement of the BGA rank was needed. So far they won't do it. Is it really such a long operation or not?

Chip transplantation takes a specialist about 15-20 minutes maximum. The question is that:
1) the queue
2) there may not be a replacement chip, there are too many different ones. Then they order from China (I have a friend who delivers chips to servicemen), this time is spent.
If the chip is available, and they change it for a week, then they just slap it.

Yes, these are organizational delays, it's like that everywhere. There are many things to do, many customers, there are not enough workers, etc.
