How is windows 10 doing with 4k monitors in 2017?

Hello everyone, I am now considering buying a dell xps 15 laptop with a 4k screen, but I'm afraid that applications for windows 10 (these are various ide from jetbrains, sourcetree and others) are not optimized for this resolution. Tell me, how are things going with this now, are there any soapy text and other sores?
