How is weight transmitted from sites?

If N sites are on the same hosting (have the same IP), then they transfer the link weight as one site (i.e. from one is transferred, the rest of the weight burns out due to the same IP) or separately, as if it were done with N different IP?
Is it possible to get banned from Google for such a network of blogs?
