Do search engines lower the ranking of wordpress sites?

How much will the search engines themselves, when indexing the site, determine that it is wordpress, underestimate it? I just read that because If there are a lot of low-quality sites, then the sites themselves are indexed worse on this engine. But I also read that it has so many plugins for the same optimization for SEO, that it has even more and easier opportunities for this.
Who to believe? Perhaps this is just a myth, but I would like to hear the opinion of experienced people on this issue.

When ranking, the search engine does not look at the system (except in order to immediately understand the structure of links on the site or where to look for static files, but even that is unlikely), nor does it look at what frameworks you use, what kind of hosting you have, what technology stack.
He only looks at the end result. If your page loads for a very long time (and not one-time, but on an ongoing basis), then the search engine absolutely does not care because of what. Even if it's a regular static html file. Exactly like vice versa.

The myth has developed due to low-quality and heavy sites on WP and crooked developers. Most often, where you can use a pure JS, PHP, CSS, etc. solution. , start installing 100500 plugins. And none of these unfortunate developers think about the end user. At the time of Google's "mobile-first-page" terms, i.e., Google absolutely sucks at your beautiful design and a bunch of chips. The main thing for him is that a person from the phone receives content in a split second. The site that loads less than 2.5-3 seconds will always be a priority in the search results. So when developing a site, always make sure that your layout page, before landing on the engine, loads no more than ~ 1.5 seconds.
PS - I think that designers need to be forced to learn the basics of layout and understand SEO processes so that they stop using a million different fonts and millions of illustrations, specifically for the Web.
P.S2 - Front developers also need to know the basics of SEO.

Completely agree with the previous answer. CMS does not affect rankings, only how it is configured.
Search engines look at CMS only when identifying PBN grids.

Do you think that if there are some low-quality ones on Wordpress, then the search engines now hate the whole Wordpress?
Lower specifically the one that is of poor quality. The site engine is irrelevant.

+ for WP. There are very, very many large projects written in WP on the network.
The issuance is affected by the use of the site, not the engine ...
Bottom line: Keep it simple.
