How is the list of servers in games. Monitoring server and what is it eaten with?
We have a game. It has already debugged tcp client-server communication. There is only one but. Each time you have to enter the IP and port of the server, which is very inconvenient. Decided to make a list of servers, similar to Cs 1.6 and SA:MP. (their lists of servers are available 24/7, I didn’t notice any failures) How to implement all this competently?
We thought and thought and decided to buy a VDS on Windows Server 2013 and run a C # application there that will store a list of available servers in a textbook. But this seems to be too much of a perversion.
If there are people here who know how to properly implement everything - please tell me. Thank you very much in advance:)

Everything is correct, only through a central server that stores the addresses of all available servers.
Without a central server, you can only search for a game server in LAN.
