How is PostgreSQL better than MySQL?
Good day to all. Recently, I often hear from friends who work in IT companies that we use PostgreSQL. Why is he so good. And why choose him? Is MySQL really that bad? I would be glad to hear what you think about this.

Postgres is just awesome! I say this as a noSql lover.
+ Very fast
+ (IMHO) scalable easily
+ Powerful stored procedures
In my opinion, Postgres can be compared to Oracle db itself!
If you need selections by GEO coordinates in your project, then you need PostgreSQL.
In all other cases, it is better to take MySQL, especially if you already know it.
You can't say that. Both are better when used correctly. You can compare the capabilities of two DBMSs until you are blue in the face, but this will not tell a beginner anything. As soon as their projects appear and begin to develop on both DBMS, then the experience of choosing a system for a specific task (new or old project) will appear.
