How is a dynamic library passed to jenkins?

As I understand it, at the beginning the master finds the pipeline in scm, then it downloads the dynamic library (let it be library ), the pipeline is executed, the stage is executed on slave linux, for example, the repository is downloaded there again, but how are the functions from the library used there? Are they transferred from the master to the one that is needed, or is a copy transferred to the slave? (see folders and files there is no way what is happening there, no access)
