How in Joomla 2.5 to increase the font on clicking a button or text?

They asked to make a version for the visually impaired on the site, a state organization, they don’t want to hear anything about scaling in browsers. The site itself is on Joomla 2.5, help how to solve the issue? Any module or code to put in the template? Previously, there were such buttons - AAA (example in the screenshot), where each "A" changed the size, but it is not on the site. Doing a second template is not an option - a lot of articles are added, it will only double the work.
