1. Leave everything as it is, just map the c:\users folder to a folder on another drive ( d:\userprofiles) on your terminal server. (there are difficulties here, you need to do it in the recovery console, but ms does not recommend doing this
2. Share the folder with profiles on d, specify a new path in the user properties in ad Path to the profile with the %username% variable pr: \\termsrv\profiles\% username% after that on the terminal server, profiles will be created in this folder.3.Look

Since the ultimate goal of the transfer was to organize a backup of user data, I decided not to transfer the entire profiles, but would limit myself to transferring documents, music, images, i.e. purely user information.
This will allow you to backup the system (with user settings) and backup user information separately.
