How fast will Windows and removable media programs run?
There are PCs with good specs.
In view of organizational issues, it is prohibited to install third-party programs on it. The case cannot be opened either. ) (The option to bring a laptop to work is not considered.) The
only option left is to install Windows on removable media.
What is the best choice for this and how fast will it work?
I am considering options for
a usb flash 3.1 flash drive or
an SSD (standard SSD with SATA + adapter / case to USB 3.0)
Which is better?
How fast will this work in practice compared to an internal SSD?
How fast will programs run on such media (will they ever?)
