How far does Mvvmcross need to expand?

It is necessary to select mvvm framework for 2 projects (1 xamarin forms, 2 wpf). Mvvmcross covers both technologies, but upon closer examination, I noticed interesting things:
1) The documentation is written in such a way that it would be better not to write.
2) Most of the examples are several years old, i.e. there is no mention of relevance.
3) Covers the basic needs of creating view-viewmodels, navigation, di, but no partial views, internet search turned up some broken crutches.
How adequate is this framework? (it feels like some students just decided to exercise).
