How does unufi controller communicate with wifi hotspots?

I have to transfer the unifi controller, I read that you can upload a backup, and when installing a new one, download the backup.
The controller now communicates with points via vpn. It will also communicate from another place, and the controller will have a different ip (maybe this is important).
Tell me on which ports the controller communicates with the points (to configure the firewall and not allow all traffic)?
What will happen to the point if it temporarily loses the controller (turn off the old controller and start the new one)?
What problems can arise during such a transfer (through unloading / downloading a backup)?

The ports are described here
. Points without a controller work fine, unless of course you have some specific settings.
In the case of Unifi, the controller does not communicate with the points, but rather the opposite. Therefore, the points need to be told where to look for a new controller - if the points receive addresses via DHCP, then rewrite option 43. If the addresses are configured statically, then you will have to log in to the points and perform shamanism on them. It is described in more detail here .
