HOW does UAC work in Windows?

When I install the program in the Program Files directory by clicking "Run as administrator" in the context menu, then the program starts and works properly, but after a reboot it stops working.

It turns out that the administrator's rights are given only before reset?
What will be the solution in this case?
Is that why browsers and many other programs are installed in AppData and not in ProgramFiles ?

Including. By default, a non-admin user cannot write to the C:\ drive and the Windows and Program Files directories. If the application in the manifest says that you can make a request for elevation, then you will be prompted to run as administrator.

Browsers are placed in user directories if there are no rights. even when installed as an administrator, they will write their data to user directories and work without problems. you either have a crooked application, or an old one, or it needs administrator rights to work. in the first two cases, it makes sense to put the application in the user directory
