How does proxmox lxc restrict hdd without additional. settings?

What tools restrict hdd lxc in proxmox 4.0 by default?

local:100/vm-100-disk-1.raw,size=800G

Created lxc from PU without additional server configurations.
Previously, I had openvz on lvm, now proxmox has refused it, lvm somehow did not.
Should I reconfigure the server and do lvm for lxc on it?
There is a dedicated server, it has debian jessie + proxmox 4 + lxc
2 hdd , raid 1

If there is no lvm then it is simply limited by the size of the .raw files on disk.

By default, a disk device is created in the file.
Let's go to

/var/lib/vz/images/100/disk.raw
and check
The conclusion is something like this
Linux rev 1.0 ext3 filesystem data, UUID=9b90cdcd-967c-452c-baa4-e1ac839f6bde
