Impressions from three years ago.
How does it cope - no way, the address of your server where the DDoS goes is blacked out so as not to interfere with other Hetzner clients.

around the same time, they successfully counted the attack traffic into the general one, tried to figure it out, the fool himself said.
Sent them on an erotic journey and forgot about them!
