How does Google highlight the main answer?

How does Google's SERP highlight some search results from others and display them as a separate block above the SERP?

It's called the Google Answer Box .
I understood the simplified principle of action as follows:
With the help of its algorithms, Google selects entities from the request and finds in its database the answer that most satisfies the EAT (expertise, authority, trust) methodology - i.e. defines an authoritative resource with a high degree of user trust, the content of which is written by experienced professionals.
Google also has a Knowledge Graph , which is used, among other things, to supplement answers to questions. The result of this technology can most often be seen in the Google search sidebar.
