How does FreePBX 14 extension_override_freepbx.conf work?

Hello. Please tell me how to use extension_override_freepbx.conf
correctly Whatever I put in there, FreePBX does not respond to it.
How I do it:
Installed FreePBX 14, set it up on my own.

"extensions_override_freepbx.conf" works for me without problems.
The machine does not need to be restarted. You need to apply the FreePBX configuration (red Apply Config button in the upper right corner).
If the Apply Config button is not available, we make any change to the configuration via the web interface, the button will appear.
PS By the way, you have a typo in the file name. Maybe that's the issue?

Which Apply Config ? I do edits via SSH, not through the web interface.
