Good afternoon, I have heard more than once about the operation of DisplayPort Dual-Mode, which allows you to connect an HDMI display to a device with a DP standard from and above 1.4 with a cheap cable. But that's just described in detail nowhere found the standards.
the same with eDP wouldn't hurt either. and its compatibility with DP.
I hope the community is more aware.
