How does balancing work in routers when one PPPoE connection is disconnected?

I want to purchase a router with two WAN ports for my home network: www.tp-linkru.com/products/details/?categoryid=294... I'm wondering
if the router will respond adequately and automatically switch to another provider if the first one fails? The main problem is that both providers have PPPoE protocols and often the Internet disappears without dropping the PPPoE connection.

If you fill in an alternative firmware, then you will configure the change of routes with a bash script.

File and cut your scripts to ping Google Yandex. It won't work properly out of the box.

You can take a look at the ZyXEL Keenetic lineup. Their NDMS 2 "out of the box" allows you to use at least all ports as a WAN and keep an Internet connection on each. In the latest beta builds, the firmware was taught to switch to a backup Internet connection using ping-checks of certain resources. Prior to this, switching was performed only when either the PPPoE tunnel or the physical link failed.
Well, or MikroTik. These animals can be taught anything at all. :-)
