How docker works with logs?

Hello everyone
There is a need to press container logs on wheelbarrows. Docker says that you can just set a limit for the file and live in peace. But even I can’t find in the dock what happens if the file exceeds the limit. Is it tranking, being written to dev_nal, being deleted, or is something else going on?

Docker removes the oldest entries from the log.
