How do you manage website development projects in Trello?
Hello,
Show me, plz, who is in charge of website/software development projects in trello. What stages do you break it down into, what columns do you use, how do you divide tasks, how do you form them, how do you set deadlines?
Interested in 3 main stages:
1. Design;
2. Layout;
3. Development.
How do you implement it? Within the framework of one board, several, according to what principle, how do you split the stages into sub-stages?
Preferably with screenshots. It is necessary for the development of the 1st personal project, I want to study combat models and examples.

Sprints.
1st sprint:
- design
layout
programming
2nd sprint:
design
layout
programming
, etc.
Most often, the design is carried out for sprints.
Statuses:
Open
In progress
Testing
Checked
Reopened All tasks that enter the
completed
status are picked up by QAs and checked, if everything is ok, they are transferred to the "Checked" status, if not, they are transferred to "reopened".
In the project where I worked, it was like this:
1. Column "sprint". The title indicated the date of the sprint, i.e. up to that number. This column contained tasks distributed by users.
2. Column "In progress" - tasks were carried there if they started doing them
3. Column "In review" - after the task was completed, everything was transferred there.
4. Column "rework" - if corrections/improvements are needed in "in review" for some reason
5. Column "closed" - closed tasks are sent there
Priorities for tasks are determined by tags of different colors.
Periodically trello is cleared ("closed" column at least)
I find that trello is not very convenient in terms of setting tasks.
Trello didn't catch on. Asana seemed a little more flexible. I use Asana. For the phone, she has a more convenient application so that she can quickly solve problems on the road.
At the same time, Asana also has a kanban, as this is a full-fledged replacement for both the trello and the wunderlist.
By columns - do not invent great, take the standard methodologies from agile kanban: backlog, there (selected), ("analysis", if necessary), in progress (development), testing, given.
Depending on the project, the design can be either on this board or on a separate one. It is not known because the size of your projects. If on this one - make it your own color.
How important is the priority of the task - give it priority levels.
If you are planning sprints, come up with a convenient sprint numbering methodology.
That's all division.
I make the following lists:
- planned (here are cards with tasks that need to be done, sorted by priority)
- in work for you / Petya / Masha (lists by the number of participants, in the list of tasks that a specific team member does)
- on implementation (task implemented and submitted to the customer for verification)
- completed (tasks that have been verified and accepted by the customer, but not yet paid)
After payment, the card with the task is archived. The customer takes an active part in the process - comments on the cards, adds new ones to "Planned", etc.
If you have any questions - please contact.
4 boards: general, what to do, in work, what is done. Tasks are labeled with progress and specific requirements.
PS The main task :)
Hello.
Just saw this question.
I do freelancing.
I organized my work on projects in Trello (I also add customers and additional performers there, if necessary).
For convenience, I put the simple rules in a separate document , which I attach to the description on the board with the project.
If there are more interesting and convenient solutions, it is interesting to see, implement and improve your work.
