How do you know if a 301 redirect can be deleted?

Hello
There is an unfamiliar site. It's on for the owner to delete unused 301 redirects Is
there any way to determine which of them are already indexed and which are not?
And does their number in any way affect the work and rating of the site?

@webirus

Yandex.Webmaster
If you have access to the site, add it to the webmaster.
We are waiting for "some time", indexed pages will appear there.
From this we already begin to "dance".
We blow similar crap with Mail.Webmaster and Google. Webmaster.
To make sure the really old links are removed.
There is no need to rush in this situation.

Is it possible to somehow determine which of them have already been indexed and which are not?

Check in each PS :) Helps how to check are in them.
But what's the difference - indexed or not. If somewhere there is / remains (not yet indexed by anyone or thrown out of the index!) A curved back that the user will come by, then what?
If we are not talking about thousands of such lines in the xtcess, then it does not affect.
You can erase everything. Then constantly look at the error logs and restore the used ones.
