Since July, I have been facing catastrophic dumping, which is already annoying. I decided to ask how the work is evaluated for each.
Initially, when I came to Upwork, I looked at the rates of people with similar knowledge and set an average rate of $23/hour. When there were too many orders, I increased the bid by $5 and so on several times. There is no limit.
I just look at the rates of other freelancers with the same rating and providing the same services as me. I put a little lower, and only then I negotiate with each client individually. It may not be the best approach, but it works for me.

It all depends on how you know how to put yourself and sell.
For someone, $35 per hour is a tower, for another, $100 is not the limit.
So download soft-skills, learn to write more conscious responses and go :-)
By time. Multiply the number of days you want to spend by the amount you want to earn in a month.
