How do software firms control employees?
Good day! I get a job as a programmer, but at my old job they ask me to stay half-time. The work is remote. Can I combine? The question is whether I will be able to leave there for 10 minutes maximum. Can they track it down somehow?

In normal firms, only the result is controlled, and not what the employee did during its achievement.
But you still can't combine.
Like in software companies
Can I combine?

no matter what you're distracted by while you're doing your job.
but in good company there simply won't be a need to do so. If you need additional income, then you will be provided with such an opportunity. There is always more work to do than there are people willing to do it.
and why the hell do you need it
?
a new job is a new job, then you would have gone to a new job half-time
There are many ways to control. They look at Internet traffic, there are keylogger programs that track keystrokes, there are programs that take a screenshot of the desktop, after a certain period of time, they can track them by cameras. It all depends on the degree of stupidity of the employer)
