How do outbound social media links affect SEO?

I am making a website that implies a large number of created user profiles of the site. It is possible to give these users to leave links to their profiles in social networks. This is of my own interest as a hypothesis, but I don't want to hurt SEO by giving it a chance. There will be a lot of outgoing links to social networks (hundreds of thousands), and they will be duplicated on different pages of the site for the same profiles (where they will be active).
Tell me, can this harm my site? If so, is there protection against negative consequences?

Close them all in nofollow, and then they will not be able to do any harm.
