How do links that infect sites contribute to attackers?
Today I encountered an infected site for the first time. I don't know what is the correct name when an attacker gains access to the site and spawns there and infects a bunch of files with the PHP function eval , and in the database too ...
What does distribution of such code with links bring to an attacker ?? Well, he added the code to 1000 sites, uploaded 7000 left links to the sites, and what's next ??? Will the sites on the list rank better in the search? Are they paying him? Or is it just prank? What is the purpose?

Somehow you are confusing different concepts.
If he uploaded a PHP file to the site so that it is executed when accessed from the browser, then we can assume that the site has been hacked! He can place ads there, and download closed content, etc.
If he managed to place JavaScript on the page, then he can only influence this page, and already in the browser, and not on the server.
