How do I turn off the Sony Motion Eye camera on indicator?

I have a Sony Vaio laptop and it has a built-in Motion Eye camera.
There is a green indicator next to its lens, indicating that the camera is on.

Is it possible to disable this indicator programmatically?
OS: Windows 7

The vast majority of camera activity indicators are a simple LED in the power circuit of the camera matrix. You can turn it off only by turning off the camera. The implementation of another (programmable) method will require an increase in the cost of the camera, which will worsen the marketing performance of the device.
However, if you shoot single frames at certain time intervals, then the diode simply will not have time to flare up to any identifiable brightness. You can check by leaving the laptop in the dark in front of the camcorder. A dark environment will increase the required shutter speed, and the camera will record the moment the diode glows.
So they can watch, but not in real time, but in the form of a slide show, about one frame per second.

It is much easier to sketch it with something or stick something on top.
