How do I set up a netinstall server on Windows 10 for my local network?
In modern BIOS there is a boot from LAN option, with which you can install the OS from the server, which does not take a steam bath with flash drives / disks.
Question: how and what server should be installed on a machine with Windows 10 so that it can be "distributed" iso from it?
eg Linux images
Thank you!

There, it is not iso that is distributed, but a customized image of the WinRE environment (about 350 meters). It is done by means of PXE.
At the request of the bootloader from the ROM of the network card, the DHCP server gives the network settings, which contain the address of the tftp server and the file name. The agent downloads and runs this file. Next, the bootloader sets up the network and pulls up the rest of the pieces to start the WinRE environment.
Usually, the script includes mounting a network folder and launching a full-fledged installer from it.
Well, the official instructions.

Direct iso can be loaded using ipxe , but there are some subtleties.
