How do I resolve the "The computer can't verify the identity of the Remote Desktop Gateway" issue?

Good afternoon, I'm trying to connect from a computer not in the domain to a RemoteApp shortcut on Windows Server 2012r2
The certificate is issued to termsrv1.domain.local

I get the error The computer cannot verify the identity of the remote desktop gateway 'termsrv1.domain.local'. Connecting to servers without identities is not secure. Contact your network administrator for help.

How can I solve this problem other than installing a domain certificate in the root centers?

You need to install a certification authority certificate (root certificate), usually admins know about this feature, especially if a domain is raised and you need to give remote access from the outside. The employee is given root certificates, the server that issued the certificate to the gateway must be accessible from the outside in order to confirm it.
