How do I install Office 365 on Mac when using two-factor authentication?
Good day to all.
I use an Office 365 student subscription and two-factor authentication to sign in to my Microsoft account.
When installing Office 365 on Windows 8.1 - there are no problems, everything is installed like clockwork.
When installing on a Mac, dances begin - the application writes that the username and password are incorrect. Phone support told me it was due to two-factor authentication.
And indeed - if you turn it off, everything works and is activated!
But still - I want to use two-factor authentication, because, for example, I have materials stored in OneDrive that I would like to secure in this way.
Does anyone have any information on how to use Office 365 on a Mac while maintaining two-factor authentication?
