How do I include a non-free component when installing Debian?
Good afternoon!
I ran into a problem, I can not connect a non-free component when installing debian. Requires component for realtek rtl8723be adapter. I load the component from the office. .bin Debian repositories and move it to the firmware folder. When reinstalling, the window about the need to install the component still pops up, but I choose the answer "scan the media", it seems like the installer scans, but alas ... it does not find it. The file was moved to the same media on which the OS was written to the firmware folder, as stated in the instructions from Debian. I tried to move it simply to the root of the media, the result is the same. I am also sure of the correctness of the component, I repeat, it was downloaded from the office. repository(non free). Help advice please. Perhaps you need to move to a different directory on the media? Or not to unpack? I don't understand... =( I thought that it scans an external flash drive, i.e. not the one from which the installation is made. But firstly, alas, the second flash was bent from me ... and it's somehow stupid, as for me. Debian 8.8.0 net-installer. I also tried the CD image. Thanks in advance to everyone!

try to put it like this:
/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/rtl8723befw.bin
what's the problem to install via ethernet and then add a non free repository and install from it?
https://wiki.debian.org/rtl819x#Debian_8_.22Jessie.22
there are still images that include non free:
cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-...
