Hello. There is an accounting computer with a bunch of any installed software. There was a need to reinstall the system. What program can be used to make an image of the old system, so that it could be quickly opened in case of emergency (for example, mounted as a virtual machine) and work in that system (view the necessary information / program)?

For example, using the Disk2vhd utility, you can migrate the system to Microsoft Hyper-V or the VMware vCenter Converter utility to migrate to VMware

Boot disk if - clonezilla
If you need to live - Rdrive Image (there is a bootable one too)
Rdrive can then be mounted into the system as a regular disk and READ it

A standard windows backup creates just a virtual disk with the ability to restore, view, and even connect to a vm.
