How detailed do you need to know webpack for a Vue.js developer?

Hello!
Deepening into JS development in general and Vue in particular.
Do I need to spend a lot of time studying the details of how webpack, babel and other things work and set up?
Or is it worth using ready-made configurations or vue-cli and not bother with it all?

If you want to do something professionally, then, I think, you should understand all the tools around you, be able to work with them, and, among other things, tune them.
Both babel and webpack in their latest iterations are not so complex as to dedicate years of their lives to them.
The choice is yours, of course, but imagine a turner who can only work with a lathe and uses a CNC that someone else set up for him, but he himself has no idea how to change something in his tool to cut out some other , a more complex detail. Hope you get the analogy

Hello!
Although I know js quite well, when learning vue and react, I used vue-cli and create-react-app respectively. I won’t say for sure, because maybe I won’t be right, but I think that we need to quickly create at least some application using these technologies, and “ask” ourselves what “went” to you more ... Personally, I - vue.js ...
