Good afternoon! For some time I have been translating videos of the channel with a technical analysis of Digital Foundry games. And the idea arose to open a page to collect money, as a "thank you" for the translations of this channel and to support the release of new videos. But the question arose - how correct is this from a legal point of view? After all, the content, it turns out, is someone else's, I only translate and voice it. On the other hand, there is no direct payment, there are only such "donations".

Get permission from the author of the content to translate.
They give me, as a rule, without talking. They also ask where I put the translation and sometimes they put a link there. For free.
But I translate the original materials in their entirety.
Are you doing, as I understand it, a separate job of editing the original video?
It's even easier for you.
If you're just translating other people's reviews...
Just ask permission.
Authors usually do not refuse - you are still not a competitor with your target audience, and extra fame will not hurt the author of the original.

Разрешение спрашивать обязательно.
Сейчас вы получаете прибыль, нарушая авторское право, и это очень серьёзное нарушение и даже преступление.
Даже в России на вас правообладатели могут подать в суд и отсудить много денег (например Варламов и Лебедев так постоянно делает и выигрывают).
