How can you tell if a laptop is compatible with Windows 7?

Looking at new laptops, it is clear that 99% of offers come with Win 10 OS and manufacturers do not allow reinstalling the OS in the future after purchase, for example Win 7 OS. Some kind of protection or simply not supported by hardware.
Is there any sign by which you can determine whether this or that Win 7 laptop will fit, for example, a processor model or something else?

According to the drivers for this laptop, if they are for Windows 7, then you can install it, otherwise not.

Yeah. There is. release date is called. If released in 2010-2015, it will definitely get up.
