How can you measure the productivity (productivity) of a programmer?
Is it possible to measure the personal productivity of a programmer? I've read a lot of articles and can't find specifics. There are several opinions:
- programmers are "writers" and it is impossible to measure their productivity!
- The productivity of programmers can only be assessed by the team leader according to their inner understanding (code quality, speed of solving complex problems, etc.). This assessment is purely subjective. And if an objective assessment? Please help me to sort out this issue.
