How can the Dock be placed on the left side of the right monitor?

I have the Dock on my macbook attached to the left edge of the monitor. When you connect a monitor with its location to the left of the poppy, the dock leaves for this monitor. I did not find regular means to place the dock on the macbook on the left, with the monitor connected to the left. Maybe there are some freelance programs for this idea?

Right now there is no macbook and monitor to check, but as far as I remember, I solved the same problem by simply removing the checkmark here, then the dock will always only be on the main monitor.
