How can I make the game work on mains power the same way as on battery power?

I play wot on a laptop with a stand. The temperature reaches 83 degrees. When I turn off the mains power and the power comes from the battery, then it does not heat up so much, but the game slows down a bit. How to make the game
work on mains power the same way as on battery power?

Control Panel -> Power Options
There we mark the mode "Balanced" instead of "High performance" for mains power
