How can I install a native Linux distribution on my phone?
Maybe there are guides? I want to try to do it for fun.
In general, where can I read about it?

For fun, porting the kernel and blobs can take an unrealistic amount of time. You can read it at kernel.org. A couple of years should be enough.
If a practical goal - put Termux , there are all the features from Linux.
Slightly less practical -- Linux Deploy .

Many distributions have ARM builds, some companies have even prepared builds for mobile systems, maybe you should just go to the sites of the main distributions.

There is a thread on w3bsit3-dns.com about porting Linux to Spica. There they reached Samsung J1, and (like. I don’t remember the exact model) Note 7. Write to Wolf, maybe he will tell you.

Here are described 5 ways to install on a rooted and non-rooted smartphone . This is if you need a smartphone primarily for its intended purpose, and sometimes you need to turn on the Linux machine on top of the android environment, that is, as if in a “virtual machine”. The sound and image from Linux to Android will have to be transferred using additional crutches. On rooted devices, you can also directly, LinuxDeploy has this option, but then problems with receiving phone calls will begin.
And on bare telephone hardware - there are topics on various forums, including w3bsit3-dns.com, but the expediency of this is doubtful. It is better to buy a single-payer and bet on it.

Everything is much easier. Search Google Play for AndroNix. And that's it, follow the instructions of the application, I think you will understand what's next.
