How can I find out the number of clicks on a link?

Good afternoon. Abstract situation: I discovered that a competitor posted an article with a link on some resource. Can I, at least approximately, find out how many clicks were made on this link? But what if it's not just a link, but a banner?

If there is some significant traffic following the link/banner (high statistical significance), then SimilarWeb will notice it
. In the free version, it shows only a few (most significant) sources of traffic from the links
. In the paid version, you can see an extended report.
